Chamomile Herb for Stress

In Ayurveda, chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) is commonly used as a calming agent for anxiety and nervousness.1 Results of one pilot study appear to support its traditional use for stress-related disorders. Those mice treated with chamomile showed better resistance to stressful conditions than the untreated mice.23
