Swastikasana

Also called the auspicious or perfect pose, this yoga posture stimulates acupuncture points inside the back of the legs. It stimulates creativity and dispels distress and unhappiness, stabilizing both the mind and body.1

How to do it:1

  • Sitting on the floor, cross your legs.
  • Bring sole of feet up and press gently against the area between the calf and thigh muscle of the opposite leg.
  • Place hands in knees, forefinger to thumb.
  • Sit straight and comfortably with eyes closed, maintaining pose for as long as comfortable and desired.
