Beauty, Lifestyle, and Holistic Healing in Ayurveda
Diet, karma, lifestyle and inner virtue are all part of of individual beauty.

In Ayurveda it is believed that diet and lifestyle, karma (expressed as genetic traits), and inner virtues all contribute to the overall beauty of the individual. The doshas are also closely connected with outer beauty as it relates to the condition of the skin and eyes.1

Different herbal and aromatherapy combinations may be used to treat dosha imbalances and provide stress relief. For example, eucalyptus oil is good for kapha imbalance and sandalwood is good for pitta and vata imbalance. Triphalá tea and rose water is a traditional cleanser and beautifier for the eyes.1
